It seems like every time I set aside some money for paint, my wife and I decided to spend it on more important stuff like groceries and gas. So it was a kick in the pants to find out that one of my best friends in the world, who also happens to be a (wood) painter and own a nice spray gun and compressor, is moving to Utah in a month or so! No more putting it off, I've got to start this project now.
I've been researching technique for long enough that I'm comfortable with the process (in theory), but I really need my friend to Man the gun so I don't end up with a streaky lousy job after all the hard work. Here it goes.
My attempt at a sub-$1000 do-it-yourself garage paint job, as a total novice; on my 1983 Porsche 944 N/A.
